Ex-President Jonathan condoles Asiwaju Tinubu over son's death

Nigeria's former President, Goodluck Jonathan has sent out a condolence message via his twittet handle to the family of APC national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose son died on Wednesday. 

On his popular twittet handle @GEJonathan, the former president prays God to comfort the family ovet the grearmt loss. 

The tweet reads: "My deepest sympathy to Asiwaju and family on the great loss you have suffered. May God grant your son Jide repose in His bossom. GEJ". 

Mr Tinubu a former governor of Lagos state and leader of the ruling APC had on Wednesday lose his son Jide, a legal practioner in his late 30. 

The family has not announced detail of his burial yet. 

Tinubu was the one who spearheaded the 2015 APC candidate's presidential campaign that led to the defeat of a sitting President Jonathan and enthronment of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari. 

Jonathan's condolence tweet has so far been retweeted 151 times and liked 205 times in just two hours; an indication of its sensitivity especially its portrayal of President Jonathan as a man of politics without bitterness.
