President Muhammadu Buhari condoles Asiwaju Tinubu over son's death

President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday joined other well meaning citizens in condoling leader of his ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  over over the sad demise of his son, Mr Jide. 

Buhari's condolence was featured on his personal twitter handle @MBuhari which he posted at 10:21 PM. 

The tweet message reads; 
"I'm deeply griefed to learn of the passing of Jide Tinubu. My deepest condolences to the Tinubu family on this sad and painful loss". 

President Buhari's tweet came about 3 hours after his predecessor Goodluck Jonathan, had tweeted his condolences to the bereaved leader of the ruling APC. 

Just like Jonathan's, Nigerians reacted to the tweets massively by either re-tweeting or liking them.

As at the time of filing this report, Buhari's tweet had generated 238 retweets and 270 likes in about 1 hour and 39 minutes. While that of his predecessor, President Jonathan recorded 319 retweets and 320 likes in 4 hours.
