Mainok village after it was attacked in 2014
By Blogger

Boko Haram gunmen are currently attacking Mainok village in Borno state state, northeast Nigeria

Preliminary reports from sources familiar with the ongoing attack said the military are responding to the attack.

Mainok is about 58.3km away from Maiduguri the city where Boko Haram was birthed.

Mainok residents are among the few villagers that showed resilience by returning to their destroyed community years after Boko Haram forced them to leave late 2014.

Lets pray for the poor residents especially women and children who may be in a very dangerous situation trying to escape attack or crossfire bullets.

Detail to come
