The Chief Imam of the 7 Division, Colonel Usman Musa, in a special sermon reminded the congregation of the inevitability of death. He said every living human must taste death and "it doesn't matter whether one is a soldier or a civilian".

"Let us remember and be conscious about death; we have to remember death in e everyday of our lives", said Colonel Musa, a deputy director Islamic Affairs.

"Death should not  be remembered only at the end of the year or by January of every year. We must always have it in our minds that it comes at anytime and to every human.

"We must continue to do deeds that will not lead us in transgressing against our lord,

"We should all engage in deeds that will prepare us to meet our lord when death comes unannounced", he sermonised.
