Borno journalists  condole The Nation Reporter, Joel Duku over father's death

Members of Borno state Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, on Friday condole the Yobe state Corresondent of The Nation newspaper, Mr Joel Duku, over the death of his father, Pa Abraham Ayaaji Duku. 

Pa Duku died on 30th January, 2018 at the age of 80, after a brief illness. 

He is to be buried today, Friday, 16th February 2018 in his home town, Onovmba-Aondo in Gyaluwa,Gwer West local government area of Benue state. 

A letter of condolence signed by the Chairman of the Borno state Correspondents' Chapel, Comrade Haruna Dauda and issued by the secretary, Timothy Olanrewaju,  urged the senior journalist and his bereaved family to take heart despite the pains of the irreversible loss. 

"It is with deep heart we condole you and your family over the passing away of your father, Pa Duku", the condolence letter reads. 

"Though death is inevitable for all mortal, we found the exit of your dad at this period quite painful and as such urge you take solace in the fact that death is the final calling for all humans. 

"Therefore accept the sympathy of the Chairman, the executive and the entire Chapel members"
